Objective

Since there is a dearth of good Software professionals in the industry today, there is a necessity for the computer education at University level and the need for course leading to a Degree  'Master in Computer applications' (M.C.A)

The Objectives of the Shadan Institute of Computer Studies for Girls are :

1

To provide educational opportunities for the young women desirous of a career in the  field of Computer

2

To establish live linkages with business and industry and eminent computer Institutes within the country and abroad to achieve excellence in education, training, research and consultancy activities

3 To further the growth of computer education
4

To organize courses, seminars, workshops and research programmes in specialized areas in collaboration with industrial, commercial, educational and other institutions

5

To assist trade and industry both at small and medium levels in solving their problems in the context of ever changing business environment

Over the years the relevance of institution for Computer education has been gaining increasing significance in the light of the following developments :

  • The traditional industry has not been able to keep pace with the technological advancements and   modernization.

  • The new economic policies and general trend towards a liberalised regime have given new relevance to Computers both Hardware as well as Software.

  • The growing awareness of the need to infuse professionalism in computer management.

College had arranged tour to industry and for environmental awareness. Students are encouraged to participate in various competitions like debates, elocution, paper presentation etc.
